Getting to Marsh Harbour (MHH) from the US is easy

It takes:

• a one-hour flight from Florida, and-
• another 35 minutes from Nassau or Grand Bahama.

From Europe the easiest way to reach Marsh Harbour is to make connections via Miami or Nassau.

Travelling Tips

You need a valid passport (or a certified birth certificate for US citizens), and a calm attitude to get through immigration. There is a departure tax of $ 10 when you leave the Bahamas.

If you come from Europe, you will have to claim your luggage in Florida and re-check it to Marsh Harbour. Allow the appropriate time.

When you arrive in Marsh Harbour, take a taxi to The Cottage. Taxis meet all incoming flights for a standard rate, and will even wait for you for an additional fee should you want to stop by stores and shop along the way. Tip the driver like you're in the US.
