Home The Cottage Description

Description

The Veranda :

It's nearly unanimous that what our guests appreciate most is the fully screened veranda surrounding the cottage. We've furnished it with a hammock, a porch swing and several wicker armchairs, and arranged them to allow your party to read and relax separately during the day, and assemble for drinks or meals at night.

It's where inside meets outside and individuals meet their friends.

The living area consists of :

A cosy sitting room which is naturally cross-ventilated by the tropical breeze. It is furnished with wicker sofas and armchairs, and is home to the TV/DVD and stereo system.

A spacious outdoor dining area which overlooks
the fragrant garden that winds down to the sea.

 The sleeping quarters include :

A large, private master bedroom located in a separate building which is connected to the porch by French windows. It has a king size Posturepedic bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower and tub, a spacious walk-in closet with plenty of drawers, and a desk. Should you bring your laptop, there is a high-speed internet connection available.

A spacious guest bedroom lies at the other end of the house, and features a high cathedral ceiling and built-in shelves and cabinets filled with a collection of books.

It has a queen size bed, an en-suite shower room, and ample clothes hanging space. Off of the guest bedroom is a sleeping alcove with a full size bed, ideal for a child or an occasional guest.

The Cottage's Dock :

The Cottage's dock is one of the most envied on the island, and a perfect place to tie up your boat, sunbathe, or enjoy a drink while watching the boats passing by Sugar Loaf Cay.

The dock: 45 ft long, 15 ft wide, draws 4 ft of water at low tide.

Passing through the rear garden of The Cottage and leading across the street, guests find that only a few steps away lies their private access to the Sea of Abaco. Its warm turquoise water is an open invitation to swim and snorkel.

The entire cottage is fully air-conditioned and well-ventilated through adjustable pane windows, as well as by numerous ventilators.
